Constella Presents “Organically Charged”
Featuring Nico Muhly, composition and piano
The second Constella-presented event of our 2012-2013 festival season spotlights a thrilling depth of talent and enticing breadth of art with Organically Charged.

Held in Griffin Hall at Northern Kentucky University’s new Digitorium space, the program features acoustic instruments and voices, pre-recorded electronics and dazzling visuals that engulf the audience in a multi-sensory experience. Nico Muhlyhimself will be at the piano as dynamic art pieces develop around him, fusing the visual, digital and performing arts. Muhly, Constella’s composer in residence for the 2012-2013 season, will also be performing a world premiere work.

Muhly is joined on-stage by tenor Grant Knox; Founder and Artistic Director of the Constella Festival, violinist Tatiana Berman; violist Joanne Wojtowicz and students from Northern Kentucky University’s Department of Music. Visual and electronics artist Jordan Munson adds a stunning visual contribution. This event will take place on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m.
